They give no solutions or even a time line hubdoc reviews for when they will fix an issue on their end. Usually needs some user input to push transactions to Xero correctly. Organizing documents into folders is a bit tricky, buy can easily search for and find what you are looking for.
Worked an issue for a year and it’s not fixed. Bad service as well
The auto-fetch net sales of statements, invoices, receipts, etc. assists greatly collecting proper documentation. Love that it’s easily accessible from any mobile device with a connection. Has the capability to be fed into accounting software which streamlines processes.
Great experience with document sharing and downloading
This is a great place to store and save many accounts so you don’t have to log into many different places. The application offers ease of use and helps to become more paperless. This will be more and more important in the future and the QBO integration really helps as well. Incredibly easy to use, all invoices are stored and exported easily as draft in Xero.
Hubdoc is a good system to link up to Quickbooks
- To get into the app, I have to login (re-enter email and password) and switch screens to the authenticator app, to authenticate every time I open the app.
- It renames and saves documents that you scan and upload (or email to the custom email address they provide) into folders based on the vendor name, bill date, and amount.
- I probably wouldn’t use it for personal stuff as I don’t track personal that strictly.
- Rather than creating a duplicate transaction, Dext prompts the user to match the digitized receipt with the existing transaction, improving the audit trail and preventing a transaction from being duplicated.
- It is well suited for clients who are on the road and they can send their receipts in for purchases from their phones.
This software allows our our accounting department to remain organized and to pull up a receipt that is stored in Hubdoc with ease. I wish all the banks and software were setup to use Hubdoc. When I put out a software or bank sync request, I don’t usually hear back from anyone on the Hubdoc team. When I have an issue using Hubdoc, I don’t ever hear back from the customer service team. It is excellent for small businesses, especially for those with a single business card or user. It is workable for larger businesses with multiple users, but not optimal because of the inability to have multiple accounts for a single business.
How I am not able to process USD and other foreign currency invoices to Quickbooks anymore. So, where we’d like to see some development is in the multi-currency functionality. So, a lot of our clients have bills that come in in U.S. dollars. It’s a little bit messy with the effects moving over to Quickbooks. Has potential but as other have said its horribly clunky at the moment and the whole VAT issue with mis calculations is the most frustrating issue.Currently does not save anytime in my mind. Hubdoc is used virtual accountant to manage and record credit card receipts for our whole organization.
The ease of use, I came into Abbeygate Accoutancy with no experience and learnt Hubdoc very well in a very short time. Web design is somewhat confusing to split multiple accounts, there could be some improvements on the layout to make lessconfusing. More smart technology to read receipt information in the future would be great.
